Deep Tissue massage targets the inner layers of your muscles. This is also a sequenced massage where your therapist targets tendon injuries and general aches and stiffness to your major muscle groups. They will use long gliding strokes, kneading knuckles, elbows, rolling and stretching of the tissue.

Clients who will benefit from this style of massage include those dealing with fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, lower back pain, high blood pressure, sciatica, mental health, headaches, arthritis, sports injuries, tennis elbow.Those looking to restore their range of motion and pregnancy clientele will also benefit from this style.

Your therapist will use medium to firm pressure throughout this massage.

• Treating stiff and painful muscle groups

Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage is for clients who have specific injuries that need rehabilitation. This requires a tailored treatment plan to manage the issues they are presenting with. During your consultation, your therapist will discuss and create a treatment plan specific to you. Orthopaedic testing is used in this style of massage to assess your range of movement pre and post massage.

Your therapist will use deep tissue techniques to warm up your body before targeting specific areas. Extra skill sets can also be used during this massage, such as dry needling, stretching, Muscle energy technique (MET), cupping, taping, Myofascial release (MFR), trigger point therapy (TrP) and joint mobilisation.

Your therapist may use medium, firm, or strong pressure throughout this massage.
